So my first student teaching placement is over...I'm so going to miss it...the kids, the teacher, the aides, the school, everything. Somehow, for not being what I wanted, I fell in love with this class. I got cards from all the kids my last day. They were sooo sweet! Plus a present from the teacher too.
I started up my second placement this week. It was definitely easier going into it already knowing the kids and the school. Its also nice to always see friendly faces from all of the staff and kids. Although the whole Miss Alyssa/Miss Kulik thing still gets them sometimes. The level these kids are at definitely amazes me though! They are like way ahead of the average kindergartener, although some of them are a bit inconsistent at times.
Life seems to be going pretty well outside of school though. I just wish I had any idea when or how to start applying for jobs. I mean I know we have to fill out this general application and send out resumes and all, but I dont know when to apply, or how to go about submitting this PA application or anything...it's a bit frustrating sometimes because I don't like not knowing where I will need to be in two and a half months.
